The mission of the Sovereign Challenge web portal is to function as USSOCOM's official collaboration portal with senior military leaders, civilian counterparts in ministries or related institutions, in order to share information and experiences that might be mutually adopted in the defense of participant nations' sovereignty.
USSOCOM has agreed to host this site as the result of a multi-national request. This site is not opened to the public at large but is strictly for the use of USSOCOM and invited guests; therefore, the site has not been submitted for inclusion in the links below:

History
Sovereign Challenge web portal first went on-line in 2006, and is a cooperative effort between USSOCOM and USSTRATCOM. Its purpose is to enable collaboration between USSOCOM and foreign military leaders interested in sharing information relevant to protecting the sovereignty of their respective nations from terrorism.
